These bombs were dropped to make people panic.  Then, people heard that some German officers say that they have mistaken the people in the market to be troops and that, at the altitude they were at, it wasn’t possible to tell if the people in the market were civilians or troops.  This bombardment was for a single goal.  To terrorise the people by creating a movement of panic which the Germans arranged well.  This panic prevented the French military convoys from moving south to bring reinforcements and to have a type of military tactic.

The Togo suburbs

Rachid and Vanessa do Africa!  Three groups of young people put, in August last year, thousands of kilometres of suburbs behind them for the bush country.  The laterite and the termitaries by way of concrete and of HLM.

A sorrow-filled and extraordinary experience is guaranteed: adapt to the climate, the environment, eat african food (but don’t drink the water!), work without tools, and meet and share the warmth (and sensitivity) of the Africans.

Another place, one where borders and distances haven’t disappeared.  That they can work “freely” to construct a school (when you’re not there anymore) or to trace a path, or even plant trees to fight against the desert.

Work for an African assosiation with local young people: a real exchange!

Togo is a western republic of Africa on the gulf of Guinea.  The official language is French.

Les vacances ça sert à quoi?

Pour moi, les vacances sont pour la détente.  C’est l’occasion pour moi de dormir plus.  Pour moi, les jours pendant les vacances commencent à 12:00 pm et finissont à 2:00 am.  C’est le temps idéal pour moi!
